IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Job Description

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for customer support services at TRITRONIK via programming customizations, corrections and enhancement for the clients. This person will provide technical support, troubleshoot and repair customer issues for TRITRONIK product lines.

Responsibility

Manage all IT Systems, including Server/Workstation, LAN, WAN and other related systems, includes:

1. Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems
2. Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
3. Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training
4. Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT
5. Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization
6. Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis and implement systems to meet the company’s IT goals
7. Work with a team to automate management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management
9. Responsible for providing technical support coverage during hours assigned
10. Provide patches to clients as appropriate
11. Verify customer issues in the TRITRONIK product lines
12. Provide a knowledge base to internal and external customers on TRITRONIK product lines
13. Provide accurate problem descriptions, with all necessary support documentation for inter‐department triage of client issues
14. Work as a team to meet contractual support requirements
15. Have good cross department communication and relationships

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer engineering, or other software development related major.

Must have proficient in:

1. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Communication Protocol
2. Experience with operating system Windows and UNIX/LINUX
3. Java, Phyton, Perl, HTML, JSP, JavaScript, PHP
4. Experience with shell scripting
5. Experience with SQL database

Must have the following skills:

PREFERRED

1. Windows, UNIX/LINUX
2. Basic Network (TCP/IP, Communication Protocol [Telnet/SSH/FTP/Rsync]
3. Shell Scripting (Bash, Korn, etc), Tcl
4. MySQL, Oracle

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibility

5. Write essential software documentation effectively.
6. Evaluate and explore new software technologies
7. Solve problems and bugs in an efficient way

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Male, max 27 years old
2. Bachelor degree of Computer Science/Informatics or related major
3. Have deep knowledge of OOAD and OOP
4. Have 1 year experience minimum in Java EE or Spring framework.
5. Good knowledge of Enterprise Web development
6. Have deep knowledge of database system concept
7. Willing to travel out of town
8. Preferably living/domiciled in Bandung
9. Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Common IT Hardware, Software, Platform and Systems Knowledge:

1. C/C++, Java
2. HTML, JSF, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP
3. REST, SOAP based Web Service
4. Hibernate, MySQL, Oracle SQL
5. Apache Tomcat, JBoss/Wildfly, other Java EE Certified Application Servers.
6. UNIX, Linux, Solaris OS.
